Hunt Group Queue light

I know I can program a button on a phone as "group" with the group name to show when a call is ringing in there, my question is, I was informed you could see the number of calls in queue and the time each call has waited, on the display of the phone.

Was I misinformed or is there a way to do this? Running a 406V2 running 2.1 (27)

Currently the queue light will light when a call comes in and I can see the CLID but it doesn't show the time in queue.

You were misinformed, that is a definity feature. There are applications to show the longest waiting call in a queue, but never on the phone display.
 
It was a phone feature on INDeX 20CC phones: agents could press the VIEW button to see various details of the waiting calls.

Sadly its still not an IP Office function. The only equivalents are within the PC apps. Phone Manager can show the queue size. PC Wallboard can show a whole variety of information.
