We installed an IP Office 500 V2 in our office running VM Pro on a UC Module. I am trying to setup and On Call Hunt group. So far I have the Hunt Group set up and the button on the phones to log the techs in and out of the Hunt Group. Everything works except the notification. Is there any way for this to work:

1)call comes into the Auto Attendant
2)the caller presses 2 for the on call technician
3)it rings the 1 tech that is logged into the hunt group
4)goes to only that tech's voicemail so that he is notified via Callback, Out calling, or One-X Mobile app.

I setup the hunt group mailbox but it notified everyone in the hunt group with the source number HOn Call. I just want it to go to the tech's mailbox that is logged in. If there is another way of doing this that you guys know of please let me know. I come here for all of my IP Office questions and you guys are great. A BIG thanx to all who answer questions in these forums!!!

If I turn it off it just rings the logged in phone indefinitely.

Will not work, it always goes to the original targets mailbox or nothing :)

forward the only user to a short code that sends calls to specified mailbox, check forward hunt group calls, set group to sequential, queuing off, voicemail on?

could set up a group start point in vm pro to leave mail in users mailbox, but would have to change it everytime a different user was "on call

Any ideas? I just don't want others to have to change the destination of the 2 option in VM Pro every week. Too many hands in the bowl and stuff gets broken if ya know what I mean.

That should indeed work, you just need as many shortcodes as you have users and you are good to go, so long as they don't take other calls that don't need to go to that vm also or they need to turn the forwarding off when not on duty :)

Thanks to all of you for your help. I think I am just going to change it weekly and here's why. Two of the people that are on call are in the main hunt group. One is the owner and the other is the Local Ops Manager. So, they would have to forward to their On Call short code after the auto attendant starts answering at the end of the day. Then the following morning I foresee all calls going to one of their mailboxes because they had a "meeting" *cough golf* and nobody would know what was going on. I guess once a week isn't so bad considering I would have to make sure this is done daily. Anyway, thank you guys once again for the responses. Helpful as always!

Could you just set the on call option from AA to go to a phantom mailbox and use outcalling to a cell. Then you only have to change outcalling number and the user could do that.

you can use socalsteves solution and add a condition in the leave action of the users mailox checking the ddi number of the call, if it is from the group then forward to cell of not then leave a message

If it ain't dutch it ain't much

Thats not a bad idea. I may try that and see how it works. Thanx again!
