Hunt Group Programming? 1

Hello Everyone,

I am working with a Mitel 3300 virtual ICP with SIP trunks.
MiVoice Business installed OVA version 8.0 PRE3
MiVoice Border Gateway version 9.4.0.31
MiCollab 7.3.0.30 with NuPoint voicemail

I am not sure if a Hunt Group (HG) is the solution for my need. I have main number that the manager want's to ring to one lady first.
Then, if she cannot answer they want it to ring three other ladies at the same time.
Then, if they cannot answer, go to voicemail.
Currently all four ladies have been assigned a DID.

I was thinking I would program the Main Line DID destination to HG 6000 with just the first lady in it.
Then use call routing first alternative to pass the call to a second HG 6001 with the other three ladies in it.
Then use call routing second alternative to pass the call to Voicemail.

BUT they also want to offer an option for emergencies to Press 1 to call the after hours cell phone.
The only way I know how to do scheduling and offer a menu is with Call Director. But how do I make the Main Line ring to the VM box without a phone tied to it?

Is it possible to give them what they want with what I have to work with? I would greatly appreciate any suggestions.

i would use ring groups with overflows

created trusted device and add vmailbox

add mw indication for this trusted device to a phone

send call to ring group 1 with 1st lady
overflow this to ring group with all ( use ring group settings not 1st alternative)

i would overflow this to an acd path
create a skill group for the acd path with ring no agents set to yes
create rad announcement with press 1 message and add this to acd path
create interflow dialling list and set destination 1 as speed call ( and add this to acd path)
set speed call to mobile with toll restriction off
set interflow on acd path after an amount of time to a nametag hunt group *xxxx
reroute *xxxx to vmail ( embedded)


so call should ring on ring group 1 ,Overflow to ring group 2 , overflow to acd path

rad announcement will play saying to stay on the line or press 1

if 1 is pressed call goes to speed call and then to mobile
if user stays on line interflow sends call to nametag which is rerouted to vmail and dumps call into mailbox xxxx

mesage wait lamps on phone with indication button

If I never did anything I'd never done before , I'd never do anything.....

 
Why not use nupoint?
You want an assisted transfer and a breakout option.

1 - You cant use your hunt group option as nothing would happen if the destination was busy. No Answer rerouting will not take place when busy and the call will queue indefinitely.

2 - Billz66's solution is viable but in my mind overly complicated.

3 - you do not indicate when the dial option is required but I will assume after ringing the secretaries and not during (during is unlikely to be viable)

My offer.[ul]
[li]Create trusted device with COS option for Delay ring after 10 seconds and No Answer routing after 20 seconds[/li]
[li]Create associated multicall key(s) on each phone, 2 each probably[/li]
[li]Set the primary answer position key(s) to immediate ring and the remaining to delay ring[/li]
[li]Set 1st alternative for key for voicemail[/li]
[li]Create voicemail associated with key[/li]
[li]Voicemail to have Call Director option to dial 1 for emergencies or wait to leave message(scheduled or not)[/li]
[li]Message keys on each phone.[/li]
[/ul]

kwbMitel, I ended up using your recommendation with a slight modification.

Created trusted device x6240 with a DID with COS option for Delay ring after 10 seconds and No Answer routing after 20 seconds
Created voicemail associated with x6240
x6240 Message Indicator keys on each phone.
Set Call Routing for x6240 to always go to VM

Voicemail to have Call Director with following options:
-Holiday Schedule
--Off hours Holiday message w/ option to dial 1 for emergencies or wait to leave message
--On hours option Weekly hours Schedule
-Weekly hours Schedule
--Off hours - message w/ option to dial 1 for emergencies or wait to leave message
--On hours - Supervised Transfer to x6241 no DID - with Busy and No Answer to VM 6240

On the NP Ports CoS I set the Display Held Call ID on Transfer to Yes so they would get Caller ID rather then the voicemail port.

Created x6241 associated multicall key(s) on each phone, 2 each
Set the primary answer position key(s) to immediate ring and the remaining to delay ring
