I am working with a Mitel 3300 virtual ICP with SIP trunks.
MiVoice Business installed OVA version 8.0 PRE3
MiVoice Border Gateway version 9.4.0.31
MiCollab 7.3.0.30 with NuPoint voicemail
I am not sure if a Hunt Group (HG) is the solution for my need. I have main number that the manager want's to ring to one lady first.
Then, if she cannot answer they want it to ring three other ladies at the same time.
Then, if they cannot answer, go to voicemail.
Currently all four ladies have been assigned a DID.
I was thinking I would program the Main Line DID destination to HG 6000 with just the first lady in it.
Then use call routing first alternative to pass the call to a second HG 6001 with the other three ladies in it.
Then use call routing second alternative to pass the call to Voicemail.
BUT they also want to offer an option for emergencies to Press 1 to call the after hours cell phone.
The only way I know how to do scheduling and offer a menu is with Call Director. But how do I make the Main Line ring to the VM box without a phone tied to it?
Is it possible to give them what they want with what I have to work with? I would greatly appreciate any suggestions.
