Hi guys.

I am trying to use professional recordings for Voicmail pro group mailboxes.

Linux server..opt/ vmpro/ greetings

From what I have read from other threads you replace the name of the mailbox recording with your recording..
Nightmaibox_1.wav

Problem is there is no recordings in that folder..

Do you have to do a manual recording first..then replace this file..

Also what is the file eg: Nightmailbox_1_$.wav

By the way I am trying to do this remotely so I don't have any recording done manually for the mailboxes.

Solved:

Sorry lads I just solved my own question.

I renamed the original file name OutOfHours.wav to eg: holidaymessage_1.wav
This is for a hunt group mailbox called holidaymessage.

Then I used winscp and loaded it into the greetings folder.

I then checked the mailbox and the new recording was there.

So it was easy enough to do.

I must have made a mistake somehow when I first tried this as it didn't work.
I then thought I would have to make a manual recording first in order to see the file in the greeting folder.

Now I know I don't have to do this as I can place a file directly into the folder as long as it matches the mailbox name
