Hi Team,
requesting your help on this

i have 3 Cetis SIP Phones in a Hotel Guest Room(Ext 1001,1002,1003). when the Operator calls the Room the Phones Should Ring together.
so we have created a Hunt group(HG 100) and added those extension in the group. when we call the Hunt group all the Phones rings together.

now the Problem is, when the Call accounting Integration happens, they cannot send the Guest name to the hunt group Name filed. they can only send the names to the Physical extensions. in this case, when the Operator calls the HG100, it will not show the guest Name.
the guest name will shown only if we call the Physical Extension directly(eg:call 1001)

is there any other way to make the Phones ring together other than hunt group or is it Possible to change the name of the hunt group when the PMs or call accounting software send Name when guest Check-in ?

please help..

What type of phones?

If it were just two extensions then internal twinning is the answer.

Old analog phones, wire them together so as far as the IP Office is concerned, they act as a single extension.

Do the room users need voicemail. If not, them look at using a coverage group for incoming calls (issue then would be outgoing calls).

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Thanks Sizbut.
They have 3 SIP Phones in Each Room. IP office SE have an option called Coverage Group..?
is there any other Option like Aura SMGR to use the same extension for 3 or 4 users to ring together in IP Office ?

Have you tried bridge appearance on the phones.
One extn number and bridge appearance on the other phones to ring.

Good thinking snowman. If they are Avaya phones with programmable buttons, then MADN buttons will probably do the job.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

hi snowman,
these are 3rd Party SIP Phones (Cetis).
as Sizbut said, this is possible if they are Avaya Phones. but doubtful if it is possible with Cetis SIP phones. some guest rooms they have 7 Phones(4 Bed rooms and 3 Bathrooms)

any other ideas to make the phone ring together >...?
