I am reviewing my hunt group metrics and I am noticing that for the last month, I have 3 in th the Total Busy Column.

I wonder if anyone can explain to me how the system measures a busy to a hunt group

I have a DID as the pilot number for a Hunt group that has 7 members set up as Broadcast Hunting.

After this, it overflows to a backup Hunt group that has 21 members. That group shows a Total Busy as 1

My question is, the original hunt group has one phone that no one is EVER on, (it is the voicemail phone for the second hunt group). So I don't see how all members of the first hunt group can ever be busy.. Since no one is ever on that phone.

Then there is the Overflow hunt group that also has about 5 phones that should very rarely, if ever, be in use, and never all 5 simultaneously.

So how am I getting Busies to these hunt groups?

Anyone know?

Sorry AlquestTech

If you have the hunt group set up as a broadcast if 2 calls come in and the phones are ringing. The first call might be ringing all the phones the second call will come in and ring the second intercom key or hunt group key the third call will see the phone as busy and that will be how you get busy.

So the calls still ring through, they just register as a busy By the way we have two appearances)
