in previous versions of ipo i used the fallback night service destination to go to a group that had vmail on it and the call would go into the night service destination mailbox. now in 4.2 it seems to want to go to the original group mailbox even though vmail is not enabled for the group. it is a work around but not idea for some others to get in and try and figure out what is going on. has anyone else had this issue or an i alone.

This behaviour has changed, by design (apparently)

I have always wished that my computer would be as easy to use as my telephone.
My wish has come true. I no longer know how to use my telephone.

This cange was made in V4.0 to ensure VM operation was more consistant (In V3x & earlier it went to the day mailbox if VM was enabled & only went to the night mailbox if VM was not enabled on the main group.)

It means that you now have 1 mailbox for both day & night service so less confusion to the operator.

it should not make any real difference to your night service operation, just change your shortcode/button programming to point to the day service mailbox & record the oos greeting on the mailbox.
