We have a speed dial (6298) that is translated to a circular hunt group (6600) This hunt group is set to re route always to a ring group (6601)This then overflows to 6000 which is our VoiceMail number. In the Telephone Directory there is an entry of 6600 Support.
This all works fine, but it is what is displayed that is the problem.
If the hunt group 6600 is set to VOICE, the sets show FROM 6600 ALWAYS. Which the client doesn't want.
If the hunt group 6000 is set to NAMETAGE the sets show GROUP 6600 SUPPORT, which is great. But then we have to set the voicemail mailbox to 6600 for it to play the correct message.
What we want is for the set to show group 6600 support and then the voice mailbox extention be the ring group's DN. I know why the voicemail mailbox extention has to be the same as the hunt group in the nametag enviroment, but i need to get round this. Any suggestions.

create a nametag hunt group with the same number as the ring group DN but put a * in front. i.e if the ring group is 6601, create a nametag group of *6601. re-route always *6601 to VM Then in the overflow of the Ring group re route to *6601.

When goes to VMS it will ignore the * and go to mailbox 6601
