I am having problem with the HG and RADs. Scenario is there are 2 extension which should ring at the same time if caller calls. For this I have created on Ring group which will ring both extensions. If both the extensions are busy then it should play first then MOH. By that time is any extension is free then extension should pick up the call if the extension is not free then it should play the second RAD. If any extension is free then extension shlold pick up the call or it should go to next rad wich says "Hang up or press 1 to leave the message".

I am using 3300 ICP version 4.1 SP2(10.1.2.13).

Customer is not having ACD licenses.

I thik it can be achieved even though not having ACD licenses.

You could try using Express ACD (no ACD licence required)

to be honest you are getting beyond the capabilities of ring / hunt groups. Standard huntgroups can have 2 rads but as far as i am aware no interflow dialling.
As Supernova says if you are on MCD then Express ACD would be the best way forward however this means user would have to log in as agents. Sounds like you will have to make a compramise either way.

Thank you Supernova99 and bobcheese I will try it today in the lab and let you know the outcome of the Express ACD. If I will have some problem then I will defenately come back to you guys.

Thanks once again.

I tried it in the lab, I am partially successful. Two rads are now working for the third rad I created a menu node voicemail box and trying to give that menu node voicemail box is as interflow point but not getting it done and once call jumps in to the queue I can not retrieve the call if extension is free. If anyone has done this thing previously please help me out of this problem.

Thank you.

You might need to chain multiple ACD groups together to achieve your desired call flow

try using an interflow dialling list rather than a menu node for dial out (I think this feature is supported by ACD express).

scrap that just checked my notes and dial out of queue not supported on ACD express.

Rather than use a ring group which your using the prime line (guess), use a key. So programme a Key system key on both phones, (same number), then put the key system into the hunt group as a member, then you can set up your 2 RAD's. You won;t be able to set up a 3rd though, but a good comprimise?

This is pretty much the same as the ACD express groups, you can only have 2 RAD's but agreed you can have an Interflow but NOT an Interflow Dialling list

MitelMatt - If programmed as a Key system line as you recommend then only 1 phone can talk at any one time. You would either require multiple keylines or multicall lines. Either way, you will likely have an issue if one phone is busy and the other is unavailable. By using Keylines or multicalls you lose the benefit of presence management.

Chinroc - You are simply asking too much. I know of no way to provide what you require even with ACD licensing. With ACD you can only ring 1 phone at a time not both simultaneously.

You need to scale back your requirements.

KwbMitel - thank you for your reply, I am fairly new to mitel system so I am not aware of the limitations of mitel system. Thank you for letting me know about this. I will for sure post my questions in the future as I will need help and please be patient with me. Thank you.

Supernova99 - "You might need to chain multiple ACD groups together to achieve your desired call flow"

Supernova99 - How should I do the chain of multiple ACD groups? Would you please give me an example of that if possible? Thank you.

Thank you all for taking interest, spending time and helping me.

Don't forget, ACD will only ring 1 phone at a time.

KWB, fair point, in which case put 2 keys on each phone, have done this loads of times with using Hunt groups and RADs to get nearly what Chinroc is after.

Chinroc, you will have to comprimise down to 2 RADS whichever way you do it, but ACD prob not the best way as KWB states,

Try 2 X key system keys on each phone, in a Hunt Group and use the 2 X RAD's

Thanks guys for helping me out. I have asked customer to buy ACD licenses to achieve this feature or I can make system to play 2 Rads and then again interflow to the ring group so no calls will be drop.

Thanks All.

With ACD licensing you can have up to 4 different RADs any 1 of which can present dial out of queue options. The call will not drop. You can engage an optional timer to exit the Queue (Interflow) at any time. The only thing it will not do is ring both phones at the same time. The users must also login in to receive calls.
