Hello

We are a call centre with an Option 61, CC6 and Nortel 3905 phonesets.

Is there any way to tell whether or not the Release button was used to end a call?

The short answer is NO.

The long answer - sure you can, but you'll have to have an active AML trace running in-order to caputre that info. Then you'll have to understand how to read the AML trace...

 
If you keep the D Channel on all the time and capture all the data and know what time it happened, then MAYBE.
