HTTPS (SSL) not working 1

I can't seem to get SSL working on my server. If I type in the address without the S it works fine. But once I try and go secure, I get Page Cannot Be Displayed. I have everything configured the way it's supposed to be in MMC. What am i missing?

We need more information than that. Provide a detailed list of all the configuration actions you performed regarding setting up SSL. Something like:

1) Obtained IIS certificate key
2) Ordered certificate from Verisign
3) Recieved certificate from Verisign
4) Installed certificate in IIS

...

Hi Pete,

I've done all those steps. I've checked with my firewall people and they say the ssl port is open. They say they can hit my server but it shows them the same message.

ummm... those are not ALL the steps. I am not going to list them for you. I was saying that you need to post all the steps you took so that we can look for something you missed.
