Httpd.pid Overwritten!!

My server is not running, when I try to start apache it says improper shutodwn httpd.pid overwritten. . .can I make another httpd.pid file or what do I need to do? wullie help! lol, and im not at my server running it remotely for the week.

Hi mate,

Is the server starting?

This is just a warning that the last shutdown was not completed successfully, there is nothing to worry about if the server is still starting.

Hey, it's weird, this happend right about when my local cable service switched to there own highspeed internet service, (they ditched road runner), I can type in //localhost into the browser and all is good when the server is running, but I can not reach it by typing

Hi mate,

Has your isp blocked port 80??

Also, do you use a dns program such as dns2go or is it all forwarded to the one ip?
