Help ,

I usually do handle Apache problems but the guru is on vacation.
I am getting Bad group name nobody . When I start apache or try to run testconfig . I assume there is a problem in conf file but not sure where to look .

I need some help.

Thanks,

Hi,

I'd guess httpd.conf says :

User nobody
Group nobody

These desginate the linux / unix userid and groupid under which the child listeners run. Presumably, its complaining that there is no such group (nobody) existing in /etc/group .
