Using Windows XP Professional, Internet Explorer 8, Talk21 E-Mail, occasionally get an E-Mail with embedded photographs that will not display.
When accessing "Properties" - file type is shown as "HTTP with Privacy".
How can I "decipher" these files ?

If this is not the appropriate forum, I would appreciate it if you would point me in the right direction.

I may be wrong, hey whats new, but here goes. A lot of email "clients" block pictures by default. This is becuase spammers / marketeers link photos back to a central server, each pic having a unique id. That way they can see when you open the email and therefore prove a valid address (it can also link back to malicious sites and even sneakily subsitute one photo with another at a later date (imagine you open up a picture of a cute kitten one day, next time you open it it's a full blown porn pic, granted some may prefer that, but I digress)
Therefore there may be a setting in the webclients properties to allow you to view the attachment, so you'll need to look for this.

We've all heard that a million monkeys banging on a million typewriters will eventually reproduce the entire works of Shakespeare. Now, thanks to the Internet, we know this is not true.
