So I need to dynamically redirect from HTTP to HTTPS on some of my web pages, and it's a really frustrating process.

I found this site:
I can't seem to make it work for my site though... I don't really know what to do with the source files. All I did was take the source files from that site, place them in my App_Code folder, modify my web.config, and that's it. Am I missing something? I'd honestly appreciate it if someone could just help me do it step by step.

are you using the code from Code Project, or the code hosted on Google Code? See the author's comments on Code Project.

I would opt of the code hosted by Google, it's the most recent and includes tests and a sample project. This should be enough to get you started. If you need further assistance I would start by contacting the author. He will be the best authority on how to configure the module. If he isn't helpful, then I would ask for help on a forum like this one.
