I am getting ready to bring some 9620 phones online. I have a HTTP server ready for these. The server is Windows running IIS. I've downloaded the 96x1-IPT-H323-R6_0-090610 zip file from the Avaya site. I've expanded that and I have 96xHupgrade.txt. release.xml, 3 .tar files, a bunch of language files and a 'signatures' subfolder.

Assuming the location of the default website on the IIS server is C:\inetpub\ where exactly do I place these files? Also, where do I place the 46xxsettings.txt file?

The 96x1 file (6.0) will only work with the newly-released 9608/9611G/9621G/9641G. Latest version for the 9620 is Release 3.1 Service Pack 1. You need to download that version.

3.1 is the latest FW for 9620 yes, but that will only run on CM3.1.4 and greater. You need to check you CM version.

We're on CM 3.1.4. so I'll look for that file.

Any guidance on where to put them? I've got the Administrator guide and it doesn't say a thing about where to put the files besides a HTTP server.

Thanks. Hopefully our phones will show up soon so I can start testing.

Follow up: I found Release 3.1 Service Pack 1 but I also found Release 3.1.1. I downloaded both of them.
