everytime i go to certain sites or try to download anything it always goes to this site i tried to download the unistall.exe from the site but it doesn't do anything. I also used adaware and search-bot search & destroy to get rid of it but i cannot figure out how to remove it please help me. Thank you!

Start, check for updates, click fix button and let it work.

If you are ever in doubt about a web site and it's affiliation with the dreaded CoolWebSearch annoyance ... Check out: Which lists all the domains. Also check which gives an excellent rundown of how to install and run CoolWebSearch Shredder. I should mention - The shredder, you need to check for updates regularly as it is often updated and an older version may not find new instances. One last thing - For the latest CoolWebSearch variant, to clean it, you need to run the shredder in safe mode.
