Http.nlm abend

Hello everyone,

I need help to solve a problem.
I have a GW 5.5 Sp5 with NetWare 4.11 sp9.

This Server is abending several times in the Http.nlm's module.
The last abend is just like the below:

When happens that Abend, the syslog.err give me an error just like the below:

7-19-05 1:04:11 pm: SERVER-4.11-4631
Severity = 3 Locus = 18 Class = 6
WARNING! Server SERVER_CORR experienced a critical error. The offending process was suspended or recovered. However, services hosted by this server may have been effected.

The weird thing is that today when the Server abend's one more time I have looked in the directories's Server and verified that was missing some directories and files in Web Directory and consequently could not access the Webaccess Server. I have restored the backup and then I could access the Webaccess with no troubles. None of the log's (Abend.log, syslog.err, webserv's log) indicated something to help me to solve this problem. This issue could be a incompatibility with the Browser? Or even with an OS? Like MAC?

I search all in Novell and I have find some TID but none of them solve the
problem.
PS: The LRU sitting time is above 30 minutes.

The http.nlm version is 3.10d April 22 1997 (Export Version)

Anyone knows how to solve this? Anyone knows if the Export Version has a
incompatibility with the GW 5.5.5?

It's fairly difficult to troubleshoot abends on an older system like you are describing. It's no longer supported and has been out of development for years. When you choose to not upgrade a system that is almost 10 years old, you're pretty much on your own. The best thing that I could recommend is make sure you have all the latest service packs plus any relevant post service pack updates.

You could also look at upgrading. If your company has less than 100 users, you can purchase the Small Business Suite, which includes NetWare, Zenworks, and GroupWise and it costs a fraction of what the full versions cost.
