HTTP and FTP access to Guest

All,

I am running VMWARE 1.0.5 Build 80187 on XP Service Pack 2 all latest and relevant patches


The guest OS is Red Hat ES 4.6 running an FTP server and webhost for HTTP


From the host machine I can get to everything running on the guest OS, webpage, SSH connection, SCP connection as well as uploading to the FTP


From any other machine i can not get to anything on the Guest OS. I can ping from Guest OS to these other machines but not from other machines to Guest OS


Installing the same guest system on another VMWARE host under apple not windows the same machine works fine.

Guest OS


Bridged mode


192.168.100.200/24


no default gateway


Remote OS


192.168.100.10/24


no default gateway


Network is flat ie a dumb hub no VLAN's no routing no nothing
