Is it possible to access the standby server web maintenance page via a remote access. I tried to click the standby server but it was trying to connect via the LAN ip address. I am sure there is a way to access this.

Usually when the 87xx is installed the servers are uniquely named. Usually you can change the address of the server you want by changing this address. It is usually at the end of the web address in the browser field. It will ask you to logon to the server. Did that make sense?

This will only work if you have a RAS connection to the customer network. Through a RAS-connection to the active server that will answer first it is not possible to reach port 80 (the webserver-port) on the standby.

Port 23 however can be reached after logging in on the answering server. So if in case the standby answers, you login and than you can telnet from the first to the second using the duplication ip-adresses. (default 192.11.13.13 and 14).
Also when you dial in to the system you can just use the services ip-adress to connect to the active server (192.11.13.6).

Hope this helps..

John
