http 404 not found

So obviously Im new the site building...Im just trying to learn and the book and just dont answer some of the right questions. Anyway when I have something up and I want to preview in explore I get a "http 404 not found" what does that mean????

that means you typed in the wrong address!

that error means that the page does not exists
