wondering if anyone can help me, i wrote a webpage in html i have it at angelfire.com now i want to upload to my sever
how do i save it, can i use notepad? or micosoft woed??
thank you,
Not sure exactly what you're asking - is it that you want to get the HTML files from your angelfire.com site to your own (local) machine?
Don't know whether angelfire gives you FTP access - if it does, then a package like WS-FTP (downloadable from the net) would allow you to transfer all your website files.
Alternatively, just browse all your web pages and view source each one. Thos should open up a Notepad session, which you can save to your PC.
most pay-hosts have a service to transfer your current web-files to their server. might look into that. if not, use notepad with the view source option.
if you do that tho, make sure to delete the angelfire code insertion at the top/bottom of every html page. Robert Carpenter
