Does anyone recommend any software i can use to edit a website in work which is pretty big. I had to create an external stylesheet which was ok but now i want to strip out have the dead links & rubbish code in some of the pages.

Is their any good software that i can view the page offline and edit it without having to do all the tedious html stuff. I tried CoffeeCup.html but i didnt think it was great. Would front page be better?

all the tedious html stuff

Unfortunately that's what puts the stuff on the screen. No getting around it really.

If you are looking for a WYSYWIG editor, try Dreamweaver or perhaps even Contribute (more really just for editing content).
Whatever you do, don't go anywhere near Frontpage.

Is that pretty big site made up with static HTML documents ? From your post I deduce that it is. If yes, then maybe you should invest some time in rewriting it to dynamically generated pages, while it is still in work. Then you could control it easier.

Feherke.
