I'm OK with static web .... Dreamweaver MX, Flash MX, Director/Shockwave, even CGI scripts I understand, but I get really confused when it comes down to Web Applications, Servers, SQL - anything Dynamic. I want to start on the ladder to Coldfusion, but I can't find the bottom two rungs.

"Using Dreamweaver MX" help pages leave a huge gap between the technologies, and I'm looking for a helpful Teach-Yourself manual that doesn't presume I know how to instantly write an SQL database. How do I learn to bridge the gap between what I do myself (static) and what needs to be done on the server?

Any suggestions, please?

Any of these sites will point you in the right direction, they helped me and I've been now ASPing for over a year from static boring coding :)
