I've finished most of the work on my new site but there's a small glitch. The main table changes it's height location from one page to the next. On the index, it sits about an inch from the top of the screen. On Searching, it's up to the top of the screen.

I THINK this may have to do with the length of the page itself.

I suppose I could set the height to 100% to have them all align on the top of the page, but I don't want that. I like the inch-or-so space before the site content appears.

The HTML is the same on every page (using SSIs for the header and footer).

Anyone know how I can fix this? Thank you!

Since that height="100%" in the table serves no puprose, have you thought about removing it? Personally, I would just add a top margin to that table (ok, I probably would not use a table there) of whatever gap you need. Incidentally, none of what you describe happens in Mozilla.

Thanks for your reply.

I realized the 100% didn't do anything on either table after I noticed the problem. I was adding the heights to see if that would fix the problem.

This bug is happening in IE and I'm still pulling my hair out over it. I need the outermost table because it adds my left and right sections. I need the inside table because it holds my content.

What do you mean by top margin? CSS?

Thanks!
