I wouldn't think so, because Notes mail does not allow for Java code inclusion in mail (not functional code anyway).
Besides, the Memo form on which mail is based specifies in its Properties that the content is Notes, and not HTML content.
That said, if you manage to send the mail outside to a browser client, it might work. But if a Notes client recieves it, it will look rubbish (unless you cleverly use the Hide/When properties of the code).
