I am designing an html newsletter for my company, that will be sent out via email.

I know how to do hyperlinks and I know how to do a little Java.

We deal with legal cases...can I make a pop up box...so if a user clicks on a case, and I don't have a doc to hyperlink to...can i get a popup to say "No information available at this time"?

Or am I smokin weed?

My first question is why would there be a link to a nonexistent document? When they click the link is it going to query a database? Or, is it that everytime you reference someone vs. someone you have to link to it?

Go to the javascript forum and look at the FAQ to learn how to open a new window. It's simple and all in there.
