Hello: I'm trying to insert .htm pages directly into the body of an email. This should be straight forward but for some reason no success to date. Using Java script I am able to take table data from a webpage and insert it directly into the body of the email, but I'm think there must be a way to do this with out using java script.

How are you creating the emails? Any particular application you are using to send these emails?

Inserting HTML into an email can be as simple as copying the html code and pasting it into the email.

If the receiving email application supports html it will render the email accordingly.

If it does not support html or html has been turned off then all you'll get is the html code in plain text.

I am creating the emails, or more precisely their content, using dreamweaver, the email program I am using is outlook 2003. At this point if I view the page/email through dreamweaver in my webbrowser I can then copy and paste this into the body. The text will show up but none of the image(s) which I'm not surprised by as I believe this method effectively cuts the link to the image(s).

How are you defining the links to the images?

You may need to make them available online so your recipients can use them.

Or embed them into the email.

What webbrowser are you using?

Technically speaking, If you copy the webpage and then paste it into the email using IE it should embed the images into the email.
