I'm creating HTML emails for a company. The emails call out to some very small GIF files that reside on the company's server. Whenever the email blast goes out (to a list of a few thousand people), the company's server crashes. ... I'm thinking it may present too much of a strain on the server, but the list manager that distributes the emails says they can't stagger the emails. Also, the MIS dept. insists that the NT server should be powerful enough to handle this. ... Any idea how we can fix this? Thanks.
