I have a mailing list that sends e-mail in html format.

the problem i have with this is that links within in the text are no longer links in the recieved e-mail ie is just plain text(no link)

Is there some code that will create <a href></a> tags around these parts of text?

You are saying that they &quot;are no longer links&quot; which to me implies that it worked originally?

If this is the case have you checked it on another client machine. It may be that on the machine you are testing it on has HTML syntax hilighting turned off.

Just a thought.

if your emailer is sending as HTML, simply write the <a href=&quot;&quot;> tag around your link text manually as you build the email body.
