HTML email Outlook 2007 and Googlemail issues - HELP 1

Hi there I've created this email that looks the pot on Outlook 2000 and Mac Entourage on googlemail and Outlook 2007 all or most of the CSS is not styling at all???

Any ideas would be much appreciated from people that know about HTML emails.

PS. It's ofcourse fully IE, FF and Safari compatible.

How does it look bad on the latter mail programs? What is your markup and CSS?

Just use plain HTML and not XHTML.
You may want to use inline styles too.

Is the email a multipart type? i.e. is Outlook showing the text portion or just unstyled HTML?

Do you have any AV software on the Outlook 2007 machine?

I've heard that putting it all in a table makes the display pretty consistent across different email clients. Sounds weird but I've had a look and it seems to work fine for others, I would prefer not to go the table route but hey if it works maybe I should???

How do you make your html emails?

When I said "What is your markup and CSS?" I meant "could you post your HTML and CSS as we haven't a clue what your code looks like"... and we still don't.

The HTML parser in most email clients is a pretty basic animal, probably just above the level of NS4 So cutting edge HTML & CSS isn't going to work well.

In many cases going back to the HTML3.2/HTML4.0 days will yield more consistent results across clients.

That is a good tip cheers I'll give it a shot! What is weird though is that it's fine on the older ones (Outlook 2000, 2003)and wrong on the latest Outlook 2007

Outlook 2007 is now using Word to parse HTML emails. All css must be extremely basic and you can not use external css.
