HTML email autoforwarded showing up in plain txt

We are having an issue with emails being auto forwarded to outside email recipients. The emails are HTML and showing up as TXT only for the outside clients. The emails show up fine for internal users.

Any Idea’s?

This is likely caused by the client's mail program.

What email client are you using to create/send mail?

What email client are they using to receive mail?

Unfortunately that isn't the case. This is ahppening to dozens of clients (actually all in the send list) some with lotus and some with exchange. Doesn't happen to my external recipients.

This issue didn't come up till we upgraded to Exchange 2007.
