Is there a way to specify html colour codes in photoshop so that the colours will be compatible with those specified for web pages?

In vers 5.5 you can go to the color picker and select Web Colors Only. I'm not sure which version was the first to add this feature.

Visit download.com and download a piece of freeware called Huey which will convert RGB/CMYK values into Hexadecimal which you can then incorporate into your html

Download web safe pallete from adobe site<br>file called:Web Safe Colors.aco<br><br>Use your windows calculator (assume your using windows)<br>In calculator use the scientific view. Take the red value of your chosen web safe color then enter it into the calculator, then click on hex radio button, note the converted value. Repeat procedure for the green and blue values. Write your Hex results down in RGB order and this will give you your HTML code for your chosen color. I'ts a bit long winded but reliable.
