I agree with the other 2 posts, there is enough information online these days to keep you from having to buy a book.

Wait until you get into specific programming before you go buy a book or take a class.

I applaud the fact that you actually want to learn the code. So many newbies get lazy and just use a program to write the code for them. The problem with that is you will only be as good as the program will allow you to be. Mike Barone
