Scenario: a hub transport server with two NICs; each NIC has one IPv4 address; all addresses belongs to the same subnet.

Is there a way to force SMTP outbound traffic to a specific NIC.

Also, we want to use a specific NIC to receive traffic from the mailbox server.

Thanks in advance.

Regards.

That seems a bit of a strange setup. Why multiple NIC's if you aren't using them for teaming or load-balancing? Especially on the same subnet.

You would only have one DG so that would determine it. As Neill says (Hi Neill, long time...), that's an odd setup. Teaming would be the logical way forward.
