I have two 3845 MDFAdmin and MDFCourt. MDFAdmin 3845 has two PRIs connected to it and MDFCourt have one PRI. They both are connected to the same VLAN on a 6509. My CUCM is connected to a 6509. If I disconnect the gig port from the MDFAdmin 3845 I cannot make any incoming calls. Which makes since because we are running MGCP. Would HSRP work in this scenario?

If you have 2 MDF's it is smart to run HSRP so that everything knows 1 gateway as opposed to updating gateways if there is a failover, like in your situation.
