HSRP in Switched Token Ring Networks

Using HSRP, the default MAC address is a multicast addres. In a switched network this is flooded to every port. Cisco have proposed a solution(to use a virtual non-multicast MAC address) in ethernet environments but I can't seem to apply this to Token Ring interfaces running HSRP.

Anyone come across this problem before ...OR come up with a solution ???
