I am not sure what all this means..
I hope this is not the start of something bigger..

Network Info:
Cross platform environment..Windows 2000 Advanced Servers running off a Novell Netware 5 backbone.

SAN in place with Compaq StorageWorks..

Problem that occurred yesterday

All Netware server volumes dismounted at about the same time. No abends occured. As a result all Windows 2000 servers also started experiencing problems because the main application that all servers write data to, sits on a Netware 5 Server, Vol1.

Solved the problem by restarting the SAN, Switches and All Servers.

Seemed to work, but the error message: HS_Service: HSZDisk error detected stills appears in todays event viewer.

I suspect this is only the tip of the iceberg.

I hope that someone can provide an explanation..

Kind Regards,
