HQX horror

I have a mac connected to a Win xp box via a cross over cable., and a cd burner connected to the mac.I'm trying to download cd burning utilities since my cd-rw didn't come with it's software.
I've downloaded stuffit.exe and toastie cd writing software.hqx
I understand that I need stuffit inorder to open the hqx file. but my problem is that the stuffit is an exe file.
Any idea's? all I simply need to do is to be able to open the hqx files from the mac.

Well, it would seem that you need to download the mac version of the stuffit expander utility - to where are you trying to install the burning utility?

Were can I download the mac version? the executable file which I downloaded said it was a Mac version. can you point me out to a site where I can download such a free utility.
I'm trying to install it onto the mac, by browsing to the windows share and doubleclicking on the application.
I hope this makes sense.
