HPT370 RAID 0 - Hangs (Clicks)

For a completely unexplained reason my RAID 0 array (Dual IBM 40's) on an HPT360 (Abit VP6 board). Will stop in mid access and click (like its reading) 4 times, then wait about 20 seconds, and click very quickly 4 times again. This will continue until it eventually completes this VERY minor task it was assigned. It persists to do this even after being completey reformatted and re-partitioned...
 
Sry, typo, in the post it says 360, as in the title it should be 370.

Just discovered now chkdsk is saying Rile record segmets 9500-9503 are all unreadable. Even after reformatting.
 
Sounds like a drive failure is iminent. Since you have RAID0 backup the data immediately, and replace the drive.
