Im currently setting up mail alerts from HPO's NNM.

I can get an email from OV_Node_Down and UP which is good. But the problem I get is when i try it with:-

OV_IF_Down and UP

I am after the variable for the Description of a Routers Loopback address.

This is needed as I will be putting the Circuit ID's into the Loopbacks Description. So when our blackberrys receive we can place faults quicker.

eg

Working OV_NODE_DOWN

- Action in event... Testmail $2 $x $X
- Trustedcmds.conf...Testmail file containing testmail=c:\\testmail.bat
- Testmail.bat... C:\blat\blat - -subject "%1 is Down, %2 , %3 " -to email@address.co.uk -body "%1 est down, %2, %3"

Now im confused of what to put for OV_IF_DOWN

Not Working OV_IF_DOWN
- Action in event... Testmail3 $2 $x $X
- Trustedcmds.conf...Testmail file containing testmail=c:\\testmail3.bat
- Testmail3.bat... C:\blat\blat - -subject "%1 is Down, %2 , %3 " -to email@address.co.uk -body "%1 est down, %2, %3"

This does not get auto send and when manually sent I just get an email containing "is Down, ,".

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
Rob.
