Hello

I have a Designjet 500 hooked up to and shared from a windows 98 pc. On one of the win 2k pc's that use it i get the following error HPLTRPL1.EXE generated errors and failed to start.

I have checked the HP website but they only have an article regarding XP has anyone had this problem with win 2k?

Cheers

First off check the XP article, it can be the same problem. Windows NT 4 was used as a base to creaet Windows 2000 and Windows 2000 was then used to create Widnows XP.

I would suggest (without looking at HP's KB) that you want to try re-installing the drivers on the problem workstation. To do this I would delete the existing printer, and install it as a new printer. The reason I would do it this way is to clear any problem settings (optional accessories for example).

Good Luck
