I know that there is a problem printing pdf files if you have the combination of Windows 2000, Acrobat Reader 5.0 and an HP Laserjet 4000 printer. The files print garbled, and are not legible. This is a know problem, and you can get around it by using an HPLJ 4m printer driver. Does anyone know if this problem also exists with the HPLJ 2100 printer driver -- the pcl 6 version? If so, do you know what printer driver could be substituted for the 2100?
Thanks. I'm not having much luck finding an answer to this on the HP and Adobe sites.

Actually, I've found that if you check the "Print as Image" box in the Print Dialog Box, it prints fine. So, I would suggest this rather than messing around with different printer drivers, since it seems quite a few of the HP drivers are problematic with Windows 2000 and Acrobat 5.x.
