HPDJ 710c Networking Problem

Hi,

trying to install the above as a network printer . The print server is able to print and has file and print sharing enabled.I install the printer drivers on the networked machine and the printer is detected but when trying to print from networked workstation I get a Communication error and my print job is deleted. Any suggestions as to what can be my problem.

I have experienced the same problem with a 722c. A co-worker's printer was down, so he networked to mine. I do not know if it was my machine that would forget the printer, or if the signal from the printer lagged, but i did find that turning the printer off for a second between switching users allowed the printer to work fine.
not really a fix, but a temporary solution that does work.
