HPDesignJet 350 - Cartridge empty??..

We install a brand new cartridge and it says it is out of ink.. also other catridges stop printing like magenta.. then after numerous removing and reinserting cartridges they start working.. any clues??

try cleaning the cartridges and the contacts with distilled water if you don't know how check hp site

Actually I thought that was extremely odd to use water.. I thought it would mess up the printer carts. but thank you.. it worked..
