HP890c Vs HP880c 1

I have been asked about an HP880c running on WinXp. Client doesn't have Installation CD any longer. Printer runs ok but he needs the Toolbox Utilities to clean/align the cartridges. Does anyone know if an Hp890c Cd Utilies would be compatible???

I'd suggest that you download the driver pack from HP at:-

In my experience the client will probably feel happier with the correct drivers, even though the 890c drivers will work.

They normally have little doubts and then you could have them calling you everytime any little thing with the printer happens. (I've even had people asking me when the inks been running low "are you sure it's not because it's the wrong drivers?&quot

Thanks Johnodq for the help. I didn't supply or set up the printer - just trying to help out. Sound advice about using the proper drivers - I'll do as you suggest. The weblink gives advice I need on the "workaround" to align the cartridges.
