HP8150N problem with Excel and Word

Having a problem printing Excel and Word on an HP 8150N.
I don't know about other applications since that is all we print on this particular printer.

The text drifts over the lines the further down the page the spreadsheet. I tried 3 fonts x 3 sizes for each font for 9 copies of the same page of letters and cell borders and printed it on the 8150N and two other printers (a Dell and a Konica). No problem of any type on the Dell and Konica, but problems with all 9 pages on the 8150N. I guess it is a driver problem, but I never seen such a bad problem like this.

With Word, spaces occur at odd places in words.

Have you checked the "Send True Type as bitmap" feature in any of the PCL5/6 drivers ?

Printer properties -> Preferences -> Advanced -> Document options -> Printer Features -> Send True Type as bitmap.

There isn't an option for Send True Type as bitmap under Printer Features. I will check for a later driver.
