hp712C stopeed printing in color

My hp712C stopeed printing in color. I put in a new color cartridge, no change. I reinstalled the siftware, even tried on a different OS (win2k instaed on win98), and tried all the diagnostics, software for cleaning print heads, etc

It's not as simple as a setting in the driver, to say print in B & W only is it? As you have done everything else.
Have you tried printing a test page straight from the printer, pressing and holding the form feed button, I think? DEC
