Hp 5 color not printing even with proper print driver loaded. The job shows up in the queue for a second then it disappears.Machine has a network connection,but i'm using lpt1(parallel).Could this be that the machine is cofigured for the network card. Should i remove car and then do a cold boot?

hp5 color not printing

You don't have to remove jetdirect card to print to lpt port. Check you cmos printer port settingsand your print driver spool settings. If bidirectional make sure cable is as well. Check HP settings using jetdamin or panel on printer.
