hp4plus error 52

I have an HP4PLUS with an error 52. I have replaced the laser unit but the error is still appearing, but not consistant.Has anybody seen other boards or harnesses causing this error?

Is the Error 52 a problem with the Scanner Motor Assembly? Have you replaced the Scanner Motor? That normally does the trick. DEC
